This time I brought my Honda CRV for the annual inspection and oil change. They texted back later saying the tires needed rotation based on wear and also alignment. Plus after 2 years, the brake fluid should be changed. The text included the pricing for each recommended service. It all sounded reasonable and I trusted these guys not to upsell stuff I did not need. They also noted that the wipers were getting worn and to keep an eye on that (which I knew but appreciated they noticed and not try to sell me that service). I gave them a verbal OK to proceed when they called me since I missed the text. Nice since otherwise I would have had to bring the car back after the inspection. I have been returning to this place for several years and it's the first place I think of when my and my GF's car need service. Nice people, won't promise you things they can't deliver. They have earned my trust - unlike most car dealerships. ========= This was an earlier post but Google appears not to let me post separate reviews to the same company. My GF brought her car in to a Ford dealer due to a recall. Of course, the dealer found something wrong with the car that was not covered by the recall. They gave us a quote that seemed high, and after waiting about 2 hours, was informed they did not have the part. Why offer to do a job and give a quote without knowing if the part was in inventory? So I talked to Plandome Service Center, who told me just to drive the car over for them to look at. I got a quote about $200 less and they could do it the next day. They did the job on time as promised. There is no sales pressure at Plandome. I've found them willing to work with me to find a solution at a price I'm willing to pay. Sal at Plandome came up with an out-of-the-box solution when it came to fixing my broken Honda side view mirror. I like these guys.
Victor , Thank you very much for the great review and for allowing us to service your Honda and your girl friends Ford.
